Our classroom rules are called The Quaver Five. They are five rules with hand signs to help remember them and to provide a way to signal to students how I need them to correct their behavior. The rules and their hand signs are in the slides below.
Once we reach the second six weeks, we will start having “quizzes” over the Quaver Five. Students will have to stand up and recite the rules (first grade individually; kindergarten in groups) for a grade. Please help your child review the Quaver Five at home, and let them explain what the rules mean for them in class.
Thanks for sharing your students with us!
